A Note from the Founder
On why I built this.
I was trained directly in the Tad James lineage. I’ve been a Huna Initiator. I hold trainer credentials in NLP and Hypnosis from every major board that exists. And after twenty years of doing the work, I founded TranceForm because I kept watching what happened when people learned this material from someone who hadn’t actually lived it.
Trance is not a parlor trick. NLP is not a sales technique. Used well, this work redraws the architecture of how a human being meets their own life. That deserves to be taught with care, taught with depth, and credentialed by a body that has never sold a certificate it didn’t earn.

Below are the questions our admissions team hears most from coaches, therapists, healers, and leaders who are evaluating whether the TranceForm path is right for them.
What’s the difference between TranceForm and a weekend NLP certification?
Most NLP certifications run three to five days, hand you a printed certificate, and call it done. TranceForm trainings are board-certified through the American Board of NLP, the American Board of Hypnotherapy, the International Federation of NLP, and the Standards & Credentialing Authority — and they require live, in-person contact hours, supervised practicums, and demonstrated competency before you walk out with credentials. We’re not the fastest path to a certificate. We’re the path that actually trains you to do this work in a clinic, a coaching practice, or a board room without faking it.
Do I need prior NLP or hypnosis experience to enroll?
No. The TranceForm Practitioner level (Level 2 — FasTrak NLP Practitioner) is built for serious beginners as well as professionals adding modalities to an existing practice. We assume zero prior NLP exposure. What we do require is the willingness to do the inner work, show up live, and be coached publicly. If you’ve already trained elsewhere, contact our admissions team — many students bring partial credentials and place into Master Practitioner directly after a brief assessment.
Are the trainings online, in-person, or hybrid?
All TranceForm certification trainings are taught live and in-person at our West Palm Beach, Florida campus. We do not offer self-paced video certifications, and we do not award credentials based on watching recordings. The reason is simple: this work is calibrated through real-time pattern recognition with real human nervous systems in the room. You cannot learn to do hypnosis on a Zoom call, and we will not pretend otherwise. Pre-work and integration material is delivered digitally; the certification hours themselves are live.
What credentials will I receive after each level?
Level 1 (Breakthrough Coaching / Weekend of Miracles) is an immersive personal-transformation intensive and confers a Certificate of Completion. Level 2 awards Board-Certified NLP Practitioner credentials through the American Board of NLP and IFNLP. Level 3 awards Board-Certified NLP Master Practitioner plus Hypnosis Practitioner credentials. Level 4 (Trainer’s Training) awards Certified NLP Trainer status, allowing graduates to certify their own students. Level 5 (Master Trainer) is by invitation only after a multi-year apprenticeship. All credentials are internationally recognized and verifiable.
What does the investment look like, and do you offer payment plans?
Tuition varies by level. The Practitioner level (Level 2) is positioned as the foundation investment for new students. Master Practitioner (Level 3) is the most common ROI inflection point — most clinical and coaching graduates recover their full TranceForm investment within the first year of practice. We offer split-payment plans for every cohort and accept all major payment methods. Specific tuition and current cohort pricing is shared on the strategy call after we understand which level is the right fit. We do not list pricing publicly because the right number depends entirely on which level you’re enrolling in.
Is TranceForm Tad James lineage?
Yes. Founder Robert Carbuccia trained directly under Tad James and holds Master Trainer credentials in the Tad James Company NLP and Hypnosis lineage. Tad James is widely regarded as the source of one of the most rigorous and clinically applicable NLP training systems in the world. We are honored to teach in that lineage and have evolved the curriculum to integrate contemporary trauma-informed practice, time-based techniques, and neurolinguistic psychology research.
How do I know if I’m ready to apply?
Three honest questions: First, are you using NLP, hypnosis, or coaching language in front of real people whose lives or careers depend on the result? Second, are you willing to be coached publicly and to do the inner work yourself before you do it with others? Third, are you ready for credentials you can defend on a stand if you ever had to? If you answered yes to all three, the strategy call is the right next step. We don’t enroll everyone who applies — and that’s by design.
What happens on the strategy call?
The strategy call is a 30-minute conversation with our admissions team — not a sales pitch. We ask about your background, your current practice, and what you’re trying to build. You ask whatever you need to ask. By the end of the call we’ll either recommend a specific cohort and level, recommend you start with one of our free resources before applying, or recommend a different program altogether. There is no pressure to enroll on the call, and there is no payment requested on the call. Our job is to make sure the fit is real before you commit.
